Adie's vintage abalone lacquer dish

Adie had few possessions. She liked to sleep on a foam pad on the floor, cut flowers for her altar and write. While at her keyboard, it was customary to have a few cookies and tea next to her. Her hand painted dessert plate depicted  three ladies in abalone shell with their parasols.  The dish brought reflection to her desk as the shell pieces caught the sun. Maybe this was enough for her, to admire the little plate in her hours of imagining.
