Beatrice's little red sewing machine

Beatrice kept her toy sewing machine in the closet for over fifty years. She brought it out when she won first place in the quilting exhibit at the county fair, to show her friends where it all began. She reminisced about the days of making clothes for her doll when she should have been doing her schoolwork instead. Today her Stitch Mistress is missing all the parts, but it's the perfect display on top of her fabric cabinet, like an ornament of her childhood sewing fun.
