What better accessory for Granny's kitchen than her general store scale. Sure she could have cleaned it up and used it like her papa did, with nails and bric-a-brac but she liked her herbs growing in it by the window, or sometimes on the porch where she'd put a checkered napkin of ice in it for the guests to make their own drinks. She didn't mind the rusty parts, because the color was so perfect for accenting her fern green plants. It wonderfully added to the look of her country chic interior and that's all that counts for Granny.
