Shipping/Pick-up

  • Furniture pick-ups 
    All items listed as ‘pick up only in the SF Bay Area’ are available for pick-up by appointment only. Please email carolyn@antaresfurnishings.com to make an appointment. Our shop is located at 4 DeLuca Place in San Rafael, CA 94901. We will help you load whatever piece you’ve purchased, into your vehicle.

  • Areas not deliverable
    There are some areas where delivery is not available via our Shopify system, although we may be able to help you. If you are choose a shipping agent that ships to your country, we may be be able to help you. You may email us at carolyn@antaresfurnishings.com
    • USPS and UPS
      Our shipping algorithms on our Shopify website support UPS and United States Parcel Service (or USPS) only. When an article is within the size constraints of the standard box sizes for USPS, you will be quoted the flat rate on the appropriate box and a 2.00 packing charge. If your item is bigger than the standard boxes through USPS, then you will be quoted for a UPS delivery plus a varying amount of handling from 2.00 to 6.00 for your larger box. This is for our handling of packing appropriately, for the safety of your goods. 

    • Taxes
      You will be charged taxes for your local state if you live inside the USA. If you live outside the USA, because our site does not support the tariffs and/or customs cost on shipping to you, you may have to pay additional dues before shipping. In this case we will be contacting you and asking you to pay additionally for these taxes before we ship your item.

    • Damaged deliveries
      If an item is received in a damaged condition, please contact us within 24 hours so that we can determine how to proceed with claiming the damage to our shipping provider. We will send you a return shipping label and request a pickup in which case, you may be asked to leave your parcel outside your premises for the shipping company to pick up and return to us, the goods. When we receive the goods back into our warehouse, we will issue you a credit on the sale, when the claim from the shipping company has been accepted.

    • Non refundable shipping

      If you are dissatisfied with your purchased item, we can not guaranteed a credit for that item, until we understand fully the reason for your displeasure. We will do our best to understand you. Please read under ‘Returns and Exchanges’ for further details. If you have been approved for a credit, you will be charged for a shipping return and this charge must be paid before we will take back your purchased item.

      • Delivery schedules

        We are a small company and have only the resources to be available to our shippers twice a week. If you would like a 2 day air shipment, you will have to contact us for a special exception, if we can comply. This is not guaranteed. We will do our best to keep you informed when we send out your shipment and we are hoping you will be patient with our shipping methods.

        • Special deliveries

          Special deliveries can only be made with an additional payment made after you have a completed sale. We will send you an invoice for the additional shipping charge. For all special deliveries we must be paid the additional express delivery before we will ship on any special order. There may be an additional charge of handling over and above the shipping quote for these type of rush orders.
