Louise's Vintage Chinese Princess and Prince

Aunt Louise traveled all over the world while her brother and sister got married and had children. Very well schooled, she always carried small books of folklore she read from, and stories of her travels. Her Chinese Princess and Chinese Prince from the Goldscheider Factory in New Jersey in the late 1940's to the mid fifties,  are a few of her favorite decor items. Some days they adorn her bedside tables next to a blooming orchid and other days in her boudoir with a single flower and basket of natural sponges and jasmine soaps. Where-ever they sit, they awaken her memories of Shanghai streets at dusk, lit lanterns and the occasional fluttering of a decorative fan.
