He would pull out his horseshoe cowboy and announced: We're going to make your heart strong enough to lasso a bull? Have you ever done that?" The kids would giggle and wait for Hal's next cue. " Ok, you keep throwing those lucky horseshoes and you'll see what I mean....you know how to do that don't ya?" Made from a welders hand, Hal's folk art cowboy brought him all the smiles he could hope for. And the healing began with a funny iron cowboy...
