Tia collected lots of colorful paintings from her travels and they were scattered across her wall. Her two Guatemalan folk dolls were her prized possessions and so she made a small wall shelf just for them, to sit among her art. She didn't mind taking them down and dusting them off. It gave her a chance to notice how beautifully the clothes were made and the detail painting of their faces. Best of all they reminded her to stay festive in life....to celebrate the cultures around her.
